Ethr

Ethr a muscial Application build on IOS Platform and backend is developed in spring and hybernate using Mysql and DB. It's backend and frontend are handled by our team. Ethr App is loaded with many features like Live Broadcast,Follow other users,Trending,Popular,Featured playlists and many more. Internally it uses VL group services(Third party music service provider) for music. User's can search for Artists,Albums,Tracks,Artist's tracks and can also create own playlist. User can also explore his playlist to other users. Users can also connect with Social Media and share their posts on Twitter,Facebook etc . Ethr also has its web panel where users can play songs from twitter. Implementing all these itself was a challenge and we had to prepare proper Data Model to handle all these things. So for that we used Mysql database.

Challenge

Working with Hibernate to make proper relations between tables to retrieve data easily was a major vision in this application. Hibernate cache for fast response, integrating Amazon s3 services where user can upload their own tracks was very important. Speed was always an issue for this application. High performance was required to run the application on different devices.

Solution

Amazon AWS service was used along with the server. Load balancing was assured to improve the performance. Proper data modeling was done to fetch data which improved its speed abrubtly.
